Bay of Plenty / Rotorua
The experience of the Rotorua Association members spans many years. We have a wealth of knowledge and are happy to offer support to those entering the B&B business.
Members meet every month from February to November and have a Christmas lunch in December. Meetings take place at the home of one of the members on the second Monday of the month. We share a lunch, with a gold coin donation for the host, and sometimes have guest speakers. Contact us for the venue.
Regular familiarisation visits to local attractions are also arranged to keep us up to date with tourism operators in the region – and there are many! Members are encouraged to cross-refer clients to each other if unable to accommodate guests.
New members are most welcome!

Our group has been running for the past 16 years now and we still love getting together! We try to meet once a month in the for a coffee at a local café. These coffee mornings are very casual and open to all B&B owners (or prospective owners). Unfortunately, in the peak it isn’t always quite so easy to get together but we do try!
We also organise a number of and training courses throughout the winter season. This past year we have held a Food Safety course (to which we also invited Taupo members) and a visit to the ECOED Pan Pac Kiwi Crèche at Opouahi Scenic Reserve.

Wānaka
Wanaka Bed and Breakfast are an active and lively group of around 18 members who meet up regularly. We love networking and collaborating to ensure visitors in our region have a wonderful experience.
We typically meet monthly for coffee at one of our member properties or a local café. These catchups provide a forum for all our members to share experiences, gain insights from the more experienced members and learn new strategies for tackling any
challenges. We arrange Famils so we can more legitimately share and recommend this these experiences with our guests.
We also like to celebrate successes and special occasions. We are proactively engaged with Lake Wanaka Tourism
